Why this name?

Nubian Strategies was derived out of the need for I, as a individual, to define myself, in my own image and in doing so communicate with my true self. (Kujichagulia, the second principle of Nguzo Saba).

Where does the name come from?

Nubian: someone who was native to an area of land, now occupied by Sudan, which was part of the Nile Valley Civilizations, on the land mass currently called Africa by the world at large, but its true name is Alkebu-lan. (xxv dynasty 751 - 656 BCE)  Nubia could be older than Egypt in terms of civilization!

Strategies:  long term plans for success; the art of the planning and conduct of a war; those tactics employ after doing an analysis of  a situation.

Strategies in the Pan-Afrikan language Kiswahili, translates to Knowledge of War. However, I have replaced the word war with victory because I link the word war with negation, death and destruction. While the word victory focuses is on the final out come of any conflict or struggle. This is what we, as a people should aim for!! Knowledge of Victory.

So what will this victory look like?

By refocusing our individual energy; making use of our experiences and resources; a strategic plan will develop. It will be dependent on the personal mission of the individual. It is what we have been given and should work towards.

Then, ultimately, we shall reclaim our correct place in the world's story.
